This page describes the many built-in options that Subuno offers to make your fraud prevention and order processing easier. By turning on these options, you may further automate your process.
STEP 1 – log in
Log into your Subuno account.
STEP 2 – navigate to the advanced options dialogue box
Click here to navigate to the advanced options dialogue box. Or you can click on your username on the top right corner of the page, then click on “integration” link on the left.

STEP 3 – insert Subuno message
This option allows Subuno to insert a message in the “Notes” section in your Shopify order.

This allows Subuno to communicate to you and alert you to the result of the fraud screening concerning each order. Every time an update is made, a corresponding message is inserted. The note is only visible to you and not visible to your customers.

*If you do not wish the note to be inserted, please make sure you turn on email notification in your settings so you can be notified when orders are either flagged for review or rejected.

STEP 4 – options when an order marked as “REJECT”
When an order is rejected in Subuno, you have the option to have Subuno instruct your Shopify store to cancel the order.

If you select that option, you can also void/refund the payment and/or restock at the same time.
*Note: Void/ Refund Payment on Reject and Restock on Reject cannot be checked without checking off Automatically Cancel Order on Reject:
STEP 5 – email customer (from your store)
Another option that you can turn on is to email the customer automatically when an order is rejected by Subuno Rules Engine. This email will come from your Shopify store and not from Subuno.

To modify the email template, navigate to Settings > Notifications in Shopify and edit the “Order canceled” template.

STEP 6 – capture payment option (for digital goods merchant)

When an order is accepted in Subuno, Subuno gives you the option to capture payment if your initial payment processing is set to “authorization only”, rather than “authorize & capture”.
This is most applicable to merchants who sell digital goods only. Capturing payment in Shopify allow your fulfillment app to deliver the digital goods ordered. Please refer to our digital work flow set up here.
*Payment processing is set in your Shopify store > Settings > Payment and may appear as automatically capture payment vs. manually capture payment.

STEP 7 – don’t forget to save
If you’ve made any modifications to the advanced options, don’t forget to click “save” to make sure those changes are implemented.
