Understanding How Subuno Works


Subuno Rules Engine allows you to create rules to automatically process and screen your transactions based on your business needs. Each transaction that comes into Subuno is run through your customized rules and assigned an action flag.

Subuno

Transaction ID

The ID assigned to a transaction

BIN

The first six digits of the credit card number used in the transaction.

*Some platforms do not share this information with Subuno.

Customer Name

The name of the customer.

Email

The email of the customer.

IP Address

The IP address where the order originates.

*If you take phone orders or have a physical location where you may enter orders, make sure you white list your IP address.

Phone

The phone number of the customer.

Total Price

The total amount of the order.

Item Count

The total number of items ordered.

Items Ordered

Items included in the order.

Billing State

The state of the billing address.

Billing Zip

The zip code of the billing address.

Billing Country

The country of the billing address.

Shipping Name

The name of the recipient.

Shipping Street 1

The street portion of the shipping address.

Shipping State

The state of the shipping address.

Shipping Zip

The zip code of the shipping address.

Shipping Country

The country of the shipping address.

Shipping Phone

The phone associated with the shipping destination/recipient.

Bill To

Use this to create a rule to compare billing [Bill To] and shipping [Ship To] addresses. For example, you can flag orders if the billing address does not match the shipping address.

Bill To State

Use this to create a rule to compare billing and shipping states. For example, you can flag orders if the billing state does not match the shipping state.

Bill To Country

Use this to create a rule to compare billing and shipping countries. For example, you can flag orders if they are being shipping to a different country from the billing country listed.

Bill To Name

Use this to create a rule to compare billing and shipping name. For example, you can flag orders if they are being shipping to a different person.

Shipping Method

The shipping method selected.

*Use this to flag orders that select fast/overnight shipping.

Payment Method

The method of payment used.

*Depending on the platform, it could be showing the brand of the card (e.g. Visa, MasterCard, etc.) or type of payment (e.g. Amazon Pay, store credit, PayPal, etc.)

AVS Response

The Address Verification Service (AVS) code received from the issuing bank.

CVV Response

The Card Verification Value (CVV) is the 3 digit code on the back of the card.

PayPal Ship To

Whether the shipping address is a PayPal confirmed address.

PayPal Status

Whether the PayPal account is confirmed or not.

Custom 1

Custom information. Use this field to make rules using the additional information sent to Subuno.

Custom 2

Custom information. Use this field to make rules using the additional information sent to Subuno.

Custom 3

Custom information. Use this field to make rules using the additional information sent to Subuno.

Coupon

Use this field to check to see if a coupon is used, or to check for specific coupon.

Order Type

The type of order (e.g. web, POS, etc.)

Alexa Web Information Service

Rank

The traffic rank of the website according to Alexa. Lower is better and means more established traffic.

Links

The number of sites linking to this domain. More is better and shows that this site is established and more trusted. Few links usually means inactive or recently created site.

Age

The number of days that this site has been around. Higher is better. Should be careful of domains that are recently created and less than 90 days.

BinCheck

Issuing Country

The country where the issuing bank is located.

*Another way to look at this is which country this card was issued from. If the BIN country is different from billing country, it is suspect.

Issuing Bank

The name of the issuing bank that issued the card.

Bin Country Match

[Yes/No] Whether the issuing country matches the country stated in the billing address.

Don’t Ship Check

Business Name

The name of the business associated with the address.

Category

The type of business associated with the address.

Address Match

[Yes/No] Whether the address matches one of the addresses in the database.

Maxmind GeoIP Country

Country Code

Country of origin of the IP address.

Maxmind minFraud

Risk Score

[Score] A score (0-100) that estimates the probability that the order is fraud.

Proxy Score

[Score]A score (0-10) that indicates the likelihood that the IP address is an open proxy.

* Sample proxy scores and the associated risk of order being fraud. (0.5 = 15%, 1.0 = 30%, 2.0 = 60%, 3.0 or greater = 90%)

Distance

Distance measurement between IP and billing address in kilometer.

IP Region

Region associated with IP address.

IP Country

Country associated with IP address.

IP Country Match

[Yes/No] Whether IP country matched billing country.

User Type

Type of user based on the IP address (e.g. business, college, cellular, etc.)

Corporate Proxy

[Yes/No] Whether the IP address is a corporate proxy.

IP ISP

Internet Service Provider (ISP) or carrier of the IP address.

IP Org

Organization or owner of the IP address.

Free Email

[Yes/No] Whether email domain comes from a free email provider.

High Risk Country

[Yes/No] Whether IP or billing came from a high risk country.

Neustar CQR

CQR Code

[Score] The CQR score provides an indication of the match quality between the name, phone, and address.

Phone2Name

[Yes/No] Whether the phone matches the name in Neustar’s records.

Phone2Address

[Yes/No] Whether the phone matches the address in Neustar’s records.

Name2Address

[Yes/No] Whether the name and address matches in Neustar’s records.

Phone Verify

[Yes/No] Whether the name and address match is verified against records from telephone companies.

Phone Type

Whether the phone number is a landline or a wireless phone number.

Address Type

The type of mailing address according to USPS.

Listing Type

The type of entity associated with the phone (e.g. business, consumer, pay phone, etc.)

Valid Address

[Yes/No] Whether the address is a valid address according to USPS.

Valid Phone

[Yes/No] Whether the phone is valid and can be dialed.

Near Address

[Yes/No] Whether the phone number is near the address provided.

PacificEast Telified

Score

[Score] Indication by Telified signaling the strength of match between phone, name, and address. (-3 to 8).

Carrier Support

[Yes/No] Whether the carrier of the phone number supports this kind of verification call.

Account Age

How long the phone number has been active under the current subscriber.

Phone Status

Whether the phone number is active, disconnected , invalid, or not available.

Phone2Last

[Yes/No] Whether the last name provided matches up with the last name associated with the phone’s billing records.

Phone2Location

[Yes/No] Whether the non-street portions of the billing address provided matches up with the non-street portions of the address associated with the phone’s billing records. Because phone carriers store the address information differently, sometimes the complete address may not match due to syntax differences.

Phone2Address

[Yes/No] Whether the complete address provided matches up with the address associated with the phone’s billing records.

Last2Address

[Yes/No] Whether the last name provided matches up with the address associated with the phone number. Because phone users often are not ones paying for the phone bill under family plans, this provides wider match coverage based on last name.

Confirmed Individual

[Yes/No] Whether the customer name, address, and phone number all match.

Social Network Search

Count of Social Profiles

The number of social networks found linked to the email.

*Higher is better. It means that the email is active and used to sign up for multiple social networks.

Klout Score

[Score] The Klout score of the customer.

*Higher is better and means that the customer has social media influence power according to Klout. It is also a positive sign because Klout score generally takes time to develop.

TeleSign PhoneID

Phone Type

The type of phone number (e.g. fixed land line, cel l, prepaid cell, toll free, non-fixed VOIP).

Phone City

The city associated with phone number.

Phone State

The state associated with phone number.

Phone Zip

The zip code associated with phone number.

Phone Time Zone

The time zone associated with phone number.

Phone Country

The country associated with phone number.

TowerData (formerly Rapleaf)

Email First Seen

When this email was first seen by TowerData or its data partners

Email Longevity

How long the email has been known by TowerData or its data partners.

First Name Match

[Yes/No] Whether first name matches the email in TowerData’s system.

Last Name Match

[Yes/No] Whether last name matches the email in TowerData’s system.

Street Match

[Yes/No] Whether street address matches in TowerData’s system.

City Match

[Yes/No] Whether city matches in TowerData’s system.

State Match

[Yes/No] Whether state matches in TowerData’s system.
